CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS:
a. Teaching: It includes
• Teaching Veterinary Microbiology to Post-graduate (M.V.Sc. and PhD) and Under-graduate (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) students of DGCN COVAS.
• As internal and external examiner for undergraduate students and post graduate students.
• Also training field veterinarians about current development in veterinary microbiology in continuing veterinary education program (CVE).
b. Research: It includes
• Ad-hoc research projects. The main area of research is chlamydial infections among animals and birds.
• In research advisory committee of post-graduate students.
• Animal disease investigation.
• In the reviewers panel of National and Internation Journals.
c. Extension:
• Providing expert disease diagnostic services to livestock of the state as well as other parts of the country for chlamydiosis.
• Delivering expert lectures on infectious diseases to the Veterinarians, Para-Vets, Ex-Servicemen, progressive farmers and Unemployed youth.
• Radio and TV talks related to prevention and control of animal diseases.
d. Others:
• Associated with university student counseling system as designated student counsellor.
