Infrastructure

The research infrastructure at the station was quite deficient prior to the sanction of the World Bank Project through NARP Phase II in 1992. Since then, the station has been strengthened to some extent in terms of manpower and laboratory infrastructure. The station still requires further strengthening in terms of office and laboratory infrastructure.

At present there are two laboratories to undertake plant pathology and biochemistry work.

 Flowing major equipments are available

1.  FOSS NIT Infratec 1241 Grain Analyzer Basic I of M/s FOSS Analytical AB, BOX-70, SE-26321, Hoganas, Sweden for oil, protein and moisture content estimation in Rapeseed-Mustard.

2.   UV-VIS Spectrophotometer (Model T-117) of M/s Systronics (India) Ltd., Rajender Palace, New Delhi for biochemical work.
