Administrative building

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has very well developed administrative building having class room, soil and water analysis laboratory, E-connectivity lab, Home science lab and an agriculture technology information center (ATIC). The class rooms are well furnished and are supported by audio visual aids.

 

ATIC (Agriculture technology information center )

It is nothing but one shop of agriculture where the farmer gets the technology and inputs together. Through this center we sale:

  1. Seed of latest varieties of cereals pulses and Vegetables.

  2. Seedling of new varieties of apple and pomegranate.

  3. Pheromone traps.

  4. Vermiculture & Vermicompost.

  5. Uromin bricks (UMB) &Mineral mixture

 

  1. Farmer’s Hostel

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has Farmers’ Hostel that can accommodate 36 trainees at a time. The hostel rooms are well furnished. The facilities are also available to outside farmers who visit us during study tours on nominal charges.

 

  1. Conference hall

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has a conference hall equipped with audio visual aids for organizing trainings.

 

 

  1. Soil & water testing laboratory

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has well equipped laboratory for analysis of soil and water samples. Every soil sample is analyzed for parameters such as pH, organic carbon, available nitrogen, available phosphorous & available potassium.

  1. Plant diagnostic laboratory

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has well equipped laboratory for disease diagnosis.

  1. Demonstrations units

Demonstration units on crop production, nursery of horticultural crops, dairy, vermicomposting and bee keeping have been established for providing training and work experience support to the farmers and extension workers. 

 

 

 

  1. Farmer’s Library

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has wide collection of books on all fields of Agriculture. All these books are available for reference free of cost. Students doing research work in agriculture can also avail this facility

  1. Vermicompost Unit

This demonstrate the conversion of the farm waste in to enriched compost The annual capacity of the unit is 40 q.
