The Quality objectives of the Department are:

To develop quality human resource in the discipline of Microbiology through
basic and applied courses/programmes.

To create top quality human resources in order to enhance productivity and
social status in Agriculture and Home science.

To impart training to students of other institutions to enhance their skill
in the discipline of Microbiology.

To provide consultancy and special lectures to the field staff of Govt.
