  • Best Publication of the Year Award was conferred on Dr. S.S. Kanwar by World Management Congress, Commonwealth of Distance Education Summit 2010 held at New Delhi on December 30-31, 2010.

  • Dr. S.S. Kanwar, Professor and Head, Deptt. of Microbiology, COBS, CSK HPKV, Palampur honoured by Himotkarsh Sahitya Sanskriti and Jan Kalyan Parishad (Regtd.) by conferring Himachal Shree Award on him for his contribution in Research and Education on 5th February, 2012.

  • A consolation prize for the following paper presentation in the National Conference on Organic Agriculture held at CSKHPKV, Palampur on May 28-29, 2014 as the best paper: Kanwar SS, Natasha, Thakur Sapana, Sood Gaurav and Gupta MK (2014) Evaluation of plant growth promoting and biocontrol potential of microbial diversity present in various inputs used in organic farming systems.
