These trainings are
organized for the benefit of farmers, women-groups, Mahila Mandals, unemployed
youths, Self Help Groups, Entrepreneurs, Officers of different government
departments as well as to NGOs.

in the project areas.

Organization of
Workshop and Seminars :

To provide
common platform for interaction among university scientists, officers of the
agriculture departments, other extension workers and progressive farmers
Rabi Workshop and Kharif Workshop are organized every year before
the commencement of Rabi and Kharif seasons, respectively.
-
In these
workshops new recommendations of the university for improving agricultural
production as well as emerging problems and issues are discussed and
packages of practices for cereal crops are finalized.
