The main international airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport at New Delhi. A daily flight operate from here to Dharamshala airport (Gaggal, Kangra), which is around 50 KM away from the University. Taxis are available outside the airport; however if informed in advance pickup from airport could be arranged. Apart from this many over-night direct bus services are available from New Delhi to Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. One can also reach Palampur by train via Pathankot, Punjab or via Una, Himachal Pradesh from where onward journey can be made by road.
