Tentative Fee Structure for International Students Category A Governmental sponsored candidates: For international students who seek admission under governmental bilateral programmes or supported by their respective governments & have some kind of agreement with Govt. of India or its institutes such an Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Undergraduate Programme: i) Non-Hosteller = Rs. 26736 for first year (600 USD) = Rs. 23636 for each continuing year (500 USD) For 4-year UG degree programme one has to pay Rs. 97,644 or approx. 2200 USD (at current exchange rate) just to cover university fees only. ii) Hosteller (other than international student hostel*) = Rs. 39, 536 for first year = Rs. 33, 936 for each continuing year For 4-year UG degree programme one has to pay Rs. 1, 51,344.00 just to cover university & hostel fees only (excluding food bills) Postgraduate Programme: i) Non-Hosteller = Rs. 38286 for first year = Rs. 25186 for each continuing year For 2-year PG degree programme one has to pay Rs. 88,658 just to cover university fees only. ii) Hosteller (other than international student hostel) = Rs. 51,086 for first year = Rs. 35,486 for each continuing year For 2-year PG degree programme one has to pay Rs. 1, 22,058 just to cover university & hostel fees (excluding food bills)
Category B Self-funded candidates: International students who wish to finance their studies through their own means & are not covered under government sponsored programmes or scholarship schemes *
*The above charges shown in table are in addition to the usual fees and dues payable by the students mentioned in category A For a student enrolling in B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture 4-year programme, he or she has to pay Rs.97, 644 (non-hosteller) in addition to Rs. 2, 40,000 for the duration of the programme, so his/her total fee for normal degree duration becomes Rs 3,37,644 or say 7500 USD **50% of the charges in case of B.V. Sc. & AH will be charged at the time of admission and rest in equal annual installments (at the time of Registration each year) in proportional to the duration of the programme. |
