Nowadays, agricultural universities are evaluated on the basis of demand and selling price of its products. The ranking of a university will be higher if all its students have better placements. The Students’ Counseling & Placement Cell is to assist the students in their better placements. Since counselling is crucial for effective placement, every student of the university is being guided by an advisor/counsellor. Keeping these facts in view, the Students’ Counseling & Placement Cell of the University came into operation on June 7, 2000. Students’ Counselling and Placement Cell (SCPC) is headed by the Coordinator who is under the control of the Students’ Welfare Officer (SWO). The Co-Coordinators (one from each college) support the coordinator for smooth functioning of the Cell.
