Extension- providing the services to the state farmer entrepreneur and trainees in the processing  of dairy and dairy products, meat and meat products, wool and establishment of dairy and meat processing plant through training, practical demonstration, telephonic and radio talk etc.

Services

    Quality analysis of different animal products-

• Department is providing the service to the farmer entrepreneur, consumer in quality analysis of dairy, meat and wool and their products. 

• Department has tested total 7500 milk samples in the year 2022-23

Processing of Milk,  Meat Products and by products yearly and revenue generation- Department is actively  involved in the processing of milk into various products like pasteurized milk, curd, khoa, paneer, ice cream and various sweet etc and meat products like patties, balls nuggets, sausage, pickles egg pickle etc and various other traditional meat products available in market
