Projects Completed Under All India Coordinated Research Project on Women in Agriculture (AICRP)

·                     Data Base on Women in Agriculture.

·                     Documentation of indigenous technical knowledge (ITKs) in various areas.

·                     Development of gender specific database on farm families.

·                     Study on dynamics and performance of women groups in agriculture and allied sectors.

·                     Study on extent of awareness & knowledge of farm women regarding climate change, its effects and situation specific coping strategies.

·                     Development of Repository of database to analyse the Dynamics and Role of Women in Agriculture and Allied sectors in selected Agro- ecological Regions.

Collaborative Projects

·                     Enhancing Rice Production in high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh by Development and popularization of high yielding and cold tolerant Japonica Rice varieties through farmers participatory approach (In collaboration with COA, CSKHPKV, Palampur)

·                     Development of low cost nutritious protein rich traditional food products and blended edible linseed oil from underutilized linseed crop. (In collaboration with NIFTEM, Sonipat)

·                     Development of Grass root multimedia Instructional package on comprehensive Study of women Self Help Groups.

·                     Techno-socio Empowerment of Tribal Women of Himachal Pradesh through Information and Communication Technologies.
