Medals & Certificates

There is a provision of awarding the meritorious students of various study programmes with appropriate medals and certificate as per the conditions laid down by the academic council from time to time.

A.    MEDALS:

    1)    Gold Medal

            There is one gold medal each for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. and Ph.D. programme and is awarded to a student securing the highest overall grade point average and as per some other relevant conditions laid down by the academic council of the CSKHPKV, Palampur. In addition, following Gold Medals are also awarded to different students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme on the basis of overall merit in different courses  of specific subjects/electives.

i)          Parkash Singha Gold Medal:

iii)        Dr. Laxmi Singh Negi Gold Medal:      

B.    CERTIFICATE OF HONOUR

The certificate of honour is awarded to a student who have achieved the following Overall Credit Point Average (OCPA) at the end of his/her degree programme.

i)    B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture: OCPA 7.5 and above out of 10.0

ii)    M.Sc. (Ag.): OCPA 8.0 and above out of 10.0

(Subject to  other requirements as laid down by the academic council)
