U.N.S.-University Network System

The University Network System (UNS) at CSK HPKV Palampur was formally launched on 22-09-2003 to look after the following services:

Design & creation of Official Website of CSKHPKV, Palampur on the behalf of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor.
Day to day maintenance of web contents of various departments.
Providing web templates, initial training and awareness for creation of web pages by all departments/offices of the university.
Maintaining and running all necessary server services for internet and emails for all UNS users in the university.
Keeping liaison with NKN (National Knowledge Network) NICNET India for maintaining leased line connectivity to the university.
Maintenance of Optic Fibre Cable (OFC backbone) in university local area network.
Maintenance of Broadband Services through EPABX to Users without OFC connectivity.
