  • To detect major personality problems and take the remedial measure.

B)   Students’ Placement Unit:

  • To assist the students in finding the employment by proper placement,

  • To provide guidance for pursuing higher education both in country and abroad,

  • To impart coaching for competitive examinations both for earning scholarship and employment, and

  • To explore possibility of different programmes for self employment of unemployed graduates by State Government, Youth Services and other agencies in collaboration with the Directorate of Extension Education.

Human Resource Development & Placement Centre

The University has a established ‘Human Resource Development & Placement Centre’. This centre serves as a hub of students’ guidance, counselling and placement activities for the constituent colleges of the university. It helps the graduates  get good placement in nationalized banks, leading seed companies, agro-based industries, multinational companies, NGO’s etc. by arranging campus interview for them. It also facilitates students to pursue their higher education in India and abroad by conducting  coaching classes, motivation lectures, mock group discussions and interview simulations.

The University/Colleges have a comprehensive system of students’ counselling. The students are assigned to a teacher(advisor) for counselling and guiding in academic  and other matters. The student advisory system has been found very useful in enabling  the new students to adjust in the new environment of the University. An orientation course has also been introduced to acquaint new UG students with the academic regulations and facilities available in the University
