The International Day of Yoga

The International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st June, 2024 in the University Playground, CSKHPKV, Palampur. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, CSKHPKV, Palampur was the Chief Guest in this occasion.

 

Independence Day

The Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August, 2024 in front of Kailash Bhawan Ground, CSKHPKV, Palampur. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, CSKHPKV, Palampur was the Chief Guest on this occasion.

 

National Youth Day

 The Youth information and Development Centre was established during the year 2007 with the objective to aware the youths about importance about blood donation and causes and harmful effects of HIV/AIDS.

The National Youth Day focused on HIV/AIDS was observed on 22^nd January, 2011 during which the competitions were conducted in Rangoli, Quiz, Essay Writing and Poster Making in the Sports Complex.  The NCC and NSS volunteers of all the constituent Colleges of the University participated in the said competitions. The position holders in these events were awarded cash prizes by the Department of Health, HP Government.

A Training-cum-Brainstorming Workshop on “Challenges and Role of Agriculture Sector in HIV/AIDS” was organized on 19^th February, 2011 in the Committee Room of Administrative Block in which more than 50 faculty members of all the constituent Colleges of CSKHPKV, participated. The lectures on “Role of various sectors to control HIV, blood donation, emerging issues in HIV/AIDS etc were delivered by Dr. R.K. Sood, Distt. AIDS Project Officer, Kangra, Sh Vijay Kumar Sandil, Counselor, ICTC, Civil Hospital Palampur.
