Children’s Day celebrated
Online painting and Art and Craft competition was
organized by the department of Human Development & Family Studies on the Birth
Anniversary of Pandit Nehru’s Birthday to mark Children’s Day. 176 children from
Himachal and other states participated in the competition. E-certificates were
provided to the winners and participants.
Short courses organized
ü
Three months short course on Beauty Carew.e.f.
August 19, November 18, 2019 was conducted atSpedu, Teh. Palampur, district
Kangra H.P. A total of 20 adolescent girls and young married women
ü
Three months short course on Beauty care w.e.f. 7th may to 6th
Aug 2018 was conducted at Village Sornu. A total of 20 young married women and
adoelscent girls attended the same.

One short course on Stitching of two months duration (w.e.f.11th
Sep to 10th Nov. 2017) at Counselling centre, Vandvihar village,
Distt. Kangra H.P.in
which 20 young married women and adolescents were trained.

Fancy dress competition was organized for the
children of Lab Nursery School in Mini Auditorium of the College on the
occasion of Children’s Day on 14th Nov 2019. Dr.
JatinderKishtwaria was the chief guest of the function. An exhibition on
educational Play material for children was organized afterwards by the
students of Elective (HDFS) for the parents and students.

rights to 43 farm women and adoelscent girls at Kandbari village on 8th
March 2019. On this occasion Dr. Sonika Gupta (BTM ATMA) delivered a
lecture on entrepreneurship. Mrs. Neelam, ADO Baijnath, chief guest of
the day. |

Anganwadi workers and organized and celebrated International Yoga Day at
Kailash Bhawan, CSKHPKV Palampur on 21st June 2017. |

week i.e. 9th Oct. to 14th Oct. 2017at Kamled village. The knowledge
about the duties of parents, society and all the community members
towards children was also given.
