Establishment
of Food Processing Pilot Plant
To strengthen the Research
and Development activities in the Discipline of Food Science and Nutrition,
College of Home Science has established a Food Processing Pilot Plant with
following Objectives:

give impetus to the food preservation and processing

provide R and D component to the food preservation and processing areas

To
create a forum for the students, researchers, industry personnel, policy
makers and local citizens for better interaction

To
help maintain nutritional, palatable and safest balance of raw materials
and processed products

meet the demand of the University regarding various processed food
