Mandate of Estate Cell :
-
To maintain and construct buildings , roads , fencing
playgrounds, parks and lands (other than the research and instructional
farms) and other physical facilities of the University campus as well as
outstations of the University.

To organize and supervise services such as IPH, electricity
and communication.

To get design ,plans and estimates for New Construction ,as
well as addition and alternation of University buildings ,tender process and
whole responsibility till the building is not handed over to concerned
department. It includes preparation of grounds, site development and
landscape around the buildings within available resources.

To maintain records and allotment of buildings/Residence of
the University campus.

To maintain accounts relating to the works and of rentals of
buildings , shops and land etc.

Each University is competent to acquire and hold property both
movable and immovable, by way of purchase, lease and exchange or otherwise.
The Estate Officer/ Estate Cell is responsible for all the above activities.

To perform all other duties and functions assigned by the
vice-chancellor, from time to time such as offering hospitality to VIP’s in
the Guest houses , by doing arrangements of boarding and lodging etc.
