• Evaluation and development of suitable varieties of cereals,pulses,oilseeds,vegetables for  agro-ecological Zone-1 of H.P,

• Standardization of agro-techniques including fertilizer and manure application, weed control and diseases & pest management of crops

•  Development of economical viable farming systems for Zone-1

• Production of foundation and certified seed of different crops and

• Demonstration of improved farming technology and imparting practical trainings to extension staff and farmers
