The center is functioning with following objectives in mind.
To build up required confidence among farmers and to strengthen linkage between the University and the farmers.
To provide diagnostic and advisory services such as soil testing, plant health clinic, and disease identification and veterinary services etc.
To sale and distribute improved products emerging as a result of research being done at SAU’s like seeds, plants, livestock breeds, fish seed, poultry trains and processed products etc.
To provide an overview of improved technology through published literatures and other communication materials.
To overcome technology dissemination loss and to provide direct access to farmers to improved expertise as well as products of technology.
To provide an opportunity to SAU’s to have resource generation through sale of their technologies.
