1. Human resource development through Postgraduate programmes in agricultural and allied fields.
2. Undertake location specific research in fundamental and applied aspects of agriculture and allied fields.
3. To promote carrier avenues among the postgraduates of the University.

BUILDING PARTNERSHIP

          The University maintains intra-institutional linkages with the various departments of the different Colleges and the Regional Research and Extension Centres of the University. The University also seeks to expand its strategic partnerships with Regional, National and International Institutions in the priority/thrust areas.
