Teaching

1. Development of new teaching aids for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the college like multimedia presentation/software etc.

2. Development of online teaching material for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the college in the field of General Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary Helminthology, Entomology and Acarology, and Veterinary Protozoology etc.

3. Development of Practical Manuals in the various fields of Veterinary Parasitology as per Veterinary Council of India “Minimum standards of B.V.Sc & A.H. Degree programme 1993”

Research

1. Parasitic mapping in various agro climatic zones of the State.

2. Preparation of suitable control strategies against economically important parasites.

Extension

1. To provide inexpensive and quick facilities of analysis of clinical samples from sick animals.

2. To give refresher training to field veterinarians on latest concepts in veterinary Parasitology.

3. To provide diagnostic and consultancy services at farmers door-step through clinical camps.

4. To extend emergent spot diagnostic and consultancy services to livestock owners during disease out break.

5. To educate farmers on animal health education through extension lectures.
