On going projects in progress in the Department:

The department undertook the following projects based on the importance of the animals and non- availability of the data on their anatomical norms.

  • Anatomy and Histology of Yak.

  • Anatomy, Histology and Histochemistry of Gaddi goat, Gaddi sheep and Pashmina.

  • Wound healing properties of Neem oil and saliva.

  • Normal and pathological studies on the bones and joints of equines of Kangra valley.
