MANDATE

(1)    Teaching:

Undergraduate as well as Post Graduate teaching to the students of Community Science and allied disciplines.

 (2)    Research:   

·         Generation of Gender specific database on Women in agriculture.

  • Documentation and scientific validation of Indigenous Knowledge on various aspects of   Home and Farm. 
  • Performance of women Self Help Groups in agriculture and allied sectors

  (3)    Extension:

·         Organizing on campus as well as off campus livelihood training   programmes for field functionaries’ and rural women of Himachal Pradesh. Imparting Technical support to SMS (Home Science) in KVKs.

·         Establishing linkages with other development agencies.
