CSKHPAU and Nestle India sign MOU to provide better nutrition to adolescent girls

CSK H.P. Agriculture University?s Department of Food Science, Nutrition & Technology and Nestle India Pv.t Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs. 4.00 lac on 29 September.

Under the MoU, one thousand students, mainly adolescent girls will be covered to improve their nutritional and health status in schools of Una district. Dr.S.R.Malhotra, Dean, College of Home Science and Principal Investigator, informed that experts from her college will pre-test the knowledge of students and the Nestle India will provide financial support under Nestle Healthy Kids programme to improve health of selected students. The college has also done similar project since 2013 covering three thousand students.

On behalf of the University, Director of Research Dr S. S. Kanwar signed the MoU and Nestle India Pvt Ltd was represented by Manager Corporate Affairs Shri Sanjay Singh Rawat.
